Welcome to Augustana, we are a small and vibrant worshipping community where you will be welcomed and rapidly become a participating part of our vibrant ministry. We have a “hands on ” Sunday School program. We do food outreach in the community and care visitation. Come and worship with us.
It’s anyone’s guess but I think you have figured out that Christmas is coming! It is the time of year that we think about giving gifts. My guess is that you have already figured out how much money you will spend for gifts for children and grandchildren. I hope you haven’t forgotten one. Check you list again, are you sure you have taken everyone into account and are preparing the proper gift for them. I suspect that there may be one that you have forgotten………the name of that one is Jesus!! For years I have advocated that what ever amount we spend on children, grandchildren, spouses and others, we surely should give that extra gift for the ministry of Jesus on the list.
I hope you will take my suggestion and bring your Christmas Gift to the Christ child when we worship on Christmas Eve at 7 P.M.
We do worship at 7P.M. on Wednesdays before Christmas. The Call Committee has completed their phone calls with the pastoral candidates. They will let us know each Sunday as we gather for worship.
