This was a great learning experience and the kids had a blast!  The camp theme was “Jesus is.” Each day students read, sang and reflected on scriptures depicting Jesus’ life. They also enjoyed the pool, pond, high ropes course, sleeping under the stars and more. Thank you parents and students for your participation.

]]> http://augustana.v-i-v-o.com/?feed=rss2&p=12 0 Perimeter Lights http://augustana.v-i-v-o.com/?p=9 http://augustana.v-i-v-o.com/?p=9#comments Sat, 03 Nov 2007 17:30:43 +0000 Tim Dickson http://augustana.v-i-v-o.com/?p=9 Perry Westin is spearheading the replacement of our perimeter lights on the exterior of the church.  Most of us probably don’t realize that most of our exterior lights are out.  On Saturday, November 3rd, Stanford Electric came to service our lights with more efficient bulbs.  He has also specified that the exterior lighting system be operated by a manual timer on the inside of the church – which will make their operation more manageable.  Prior to this, the lights have been utilizing photo-sensors, but when those photo-sensors go out, the lights are rendered useless by the timer.

With Daylight-Savings Time ending soon, we will certainly appreciate this at our evening events!
